The German Ecodesign Award recognises solutions in the categories of Product, Service, Concept, and Newcomer that are convincing from an environmental and design perspective and make an important contribution to the sustainable transformation of the economy and society. This highest national award for ecological design is presented annually by the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Federal Environment Agency in cooperation with the International Design Center Berlin.
At this year's award ceremony on December 4, our innovation Satino PureSoft in the "Product" category was honoured with the German Ecodesign Award. The evaluation focused on the innovation content, design quality, and environmental properties. With the "hygiene paper of the future", the recycled hygiene paper made from cardboard succeeded against around 150 other recognised submissions.
We are delighted with this extraordinary recognition and proud that Satino PureSoft as a raw material innovation is among the winners of this year's award ceremony. The award with the German Ecodesign Award reinforces our efforts in the field of recycling hygiene paper.
