Microplastics are at the tip of everyone's tongue. The harmful plastic particles can be detected in bodies of water and oceans, from the Arctic all the way to high mountains. Wherever they are: potentially, they will end up in the animal food chain, and finally in us humans.

What many people are unaware of: microplastics means nothing other than synthetic polymers in solid, insoluble form. In liquid or gel form or in solution, these synthetic polymers are present in many skin care products, cleaning agents and detergents. They are also used in foam and liquid soaps as binding agents and film formers. At Satino, we know: it is possible to do things without these problematic ingredients.
Hand cleaning with a quiet conscience
Our foam and liquid soaps now feature a new, improved formula: it does entirely without microplastics or “liquid microplastics”, i.e. synthetic polymers. The soaps are dermatologically tested, pH neutral and therefore suitable for frequent hand washing. They are free of preservatives (parabens), optionally available without fragrance, vegan – and proudly carry the EU Ecolabel.
A breather from everyday life: the fragrances
Satino has composed three atmospheric fragrances for each Air Freshener, and they all come without propellants and synthetic polymers. For Eco, the fragrances Blue Atlantic, White Mountain and Orange Desert are available: the fragrance gels provide relaxing freshness with spicy, citrus or slightly oriental notes. The notes Ginger Flower, Cute and Big Boss were created especially for the Premium Air Freshener – refreshingly verdant, floral or spicy.
Fewer damaging ingredients are a clear plus for humans and the environment.
